 POSITION: Special Education Route-    2.0 hours total

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Possess or be eligible for, or be able to obtain appropriate license requirements.

  2. Ability to work with children and adults in a positive, constructive manner.

  3. High school diploma or equivalent.

  4. Previous experience driving school bus highly desirable but not required.

  5. Pre-employment physical and fingerprint (FBI, WSP) required.

 

DEMONSTRATED ABILITIES:

  1. To communicate effectively with students, parents, community, staff and administration.

  2. To effectively manage school age students in a positive manner.

  3. To work cooperatively as a member of the school team.

  4. Ability to take direction from superiors.

  5. Willingness to do variety of related tasks.

  6. Ability to safely drive a school bus under all conditions.

TITLE OF POSITION:                    Kindergarten Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:  

 

1.       Have a valid Washington State Teacher Certificate with proper endorsements.

2.       Demonstrated successful classroom teaching experience at K-6 with the ability to differentiate instruction based                         on student needs.

3.       Strong classroom management skills with students in small groups and whole class settings.

4.       Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

5.       Demonstrated organizational skills and commitment to follow through on tasks.

6.       Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, both orally and in writing.

7.       Demonstrated ability to relate to administrators.

Job Description

 

HOURS:                            4.0 hours per day, 260 days, Monday through Friday

PAY:                                 $13.52-16.08 per hour, dependent upon experience

                                        Non-represented position: 12 month employee

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

EDUCATION:                

Prefer formal post-high school training in accounting and/or business. 

TECHNICAL:                

Demonstrated intermediate or advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher, Skyward, 10-key,  and web site management tools.

EXPERIENCE:              

Related experience in office routines requiring accounting procedures. 

Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable is desirable.

GENERAL:                  

Must be able to work well with district staff, students, and public. 

Must support and be an advocate of public education and the Kittitas School District, in both words and actions.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Accounting: Prepare purchase orders, maintain purchase order log, maintain purchase order file, coordinate annual orders, maintain and process personal service contracts (l099 statements), file quarterly excise tax return, examine, audit and code documents for data processing input, process monthly accounts payable on Skyward computer system, maintain voucher/vendor file, receipt daily monies, prepare and deliver deposits, prepare month-end accounts payable report, assist with telephone calls, the public, students & staff, perform other office duties as required or other duties as assigned.

 Appropriate coaching experience at this level.

Knowledge of required skills, techniques and strategy appropriate to level.

 

DEMONSTRATED ABILITIES:

Ability to communicate effectively and positively with students, parents, community, staff and administration.

Ability to effectively coach and manage students of this age level.

Ability to model skills, techniques and strategy.

Ability to promote and encourage a positive attitude within the team, both on and off the court.
