Paraprofessional 1:1 Position Opening

 

POSITION: Elementary Special Education Para Educator, 3.25 hours per day. This position will be responsible for assisting a student who needs 1:1 support during the morning. Part of this time will be in the general education classroom, however most of it will take place in the resource room.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.      Ability to work with children and adults in a positive, constructive manner.

2.      Must meet parapro highly qualified standards according to NCLB.

3.      Willingness to attend trainings and workshops as recommended by the District.

 

DEMONSTRATED ABILITIES:

1.     To communicate effectively and in a positive manner with students, parents, community, staff and administration.

2.      To effectively manage elementary school students.

3.      To work cooperatively as a member of a building team.

4.      Ability to take direction from superiors.

5.      Willingness to do variety of related tasks.

6.      Willingness and ability to work effectively with small and large groups of students.

MS Fastpitch Head Coach

Coaching Position Opening

 

POSITION: Middle School Fastpitch, Head Coach

 

TERM: Supplemental Contract for the MS Spring Season

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Appropriate coaching experience at this level.

  2. Knowledge of required skills, techniques and strategy appropriate to level.

 

DEMONSTRATED ABILITIES:

 

  1. Ability to communicate effectively and positively with students, parents, community, staff and administration.

  2. Ability to effectively coach and manage students of this age level.

  3. Ability to model skills, techniques and strategy.

  4. Ability to promote and encourage a positive attitude within the team, both on and off the court.

 

APPLICATION PROCESS:

Elementary Para Educator - 4.5 Hours

Paraprofessional Position Opening

POSITION: Elementary Para Educator, 4.5 hours per day. This position will be responsible for assisting teachers with small group work, providing on-going DIBELS progress monitoring of fourth and fifth grade students. This position will also be assigned to specific classrooms at specific times. Daily recess supervision, and lunchroom supervision of students is also involved. This is a morning position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.      Ability to work with children and adults in a positive, constructive manner.

2.      Must meet parapro highly qualified standards according to NCLB.

3.      Willingness to attend trainings and workshops as recommended by the District.

4.      Experience with DIBELS is a bonus, but not a requirement.

Elementary Para Educator - 3.0 Hours

Paraprofessional Position Opening

POSITION: Elementary Technology Para Educator, 3 hours per day. This position will be responsible for the operation of the elementary technology lab. All aspects of technology responsibilities will be involved, including managing students K-5 in the tech lab. Daily recess supervision of students may also be involved.

QUALIFICATIONS :

1.      Ability to work with children and adults in a positive, constructive manner.

2.      Must meet parapro highly qualified standards according to NCLB.

3.      Willingness to attend trainings and workshops as recommended by the District.

4.      Computer and software literacy sufficient to operate the following : 1) Elementary tech lab programs (i.e. Reading Eggs, Reading Eggs Express, STAR/AR, MAPS testing and state online assessments; 3) Knowledge of Google Apps
