Coyote Parents, Staff and Students,

I hope you all have enjoyed a wonderful holiday season!

I want to encourage students to use our after school study hall open for high school and middle school students Monday through Thursday from 3:00pm-4:00pm. This is an extended learning opportunity for students who may need assistance with their school work. Please contact the office if you have any questions about this program.

Staying Proactive regarding Student Achievement throughout the course of the trimester:

Teachers will be sending progress reports home either via e-mail or giving hard copies directly to the students at various times throughout the trimester. If you do not have a current e-mail address in our system, please contact the main office so we can make appropriate changes. Parents are encouraged to check skyward for updated student progress. If you do not have an e-mail address and would like an update on your student’s progress at any time, feel free to contact the office.

School Tardy Policy:

A reminder that students who accumulate 3 tardies at any time during each trimester will be referred to the office for detention. It is important that students show up to class on time and ready to learn. Please contact the office directly if you have any questions regarding this policy.

Another  reminder to parents that students’ absences need to be cleared through the office within 3 school days or the absence will remain unexcused. We would appreciate your support and attention to this matter!

Special Recognition goes out to the FCCLA Code Red Team whose “Credit” video one a national on-line competition sponsored by the University of Arizona. The team was presented a certificate along with a $1,500.00 check in our December pep assembly. Creation of this project was led by Miesha Hunter, Jose Castorena and Alan Sanchez and facilitated by FCCLA advisor, Mrs. Uceny.
