✨ Played basketball and earned his AA at Wenatchee Valley College
✨ Bachelor's in Health & Physical Education from Eastern Washington University
✨ Taught Elementary PE in Wapato for the past 4 years

Ms. Francois’ Life Skills Art Class is participating in the "Hearts Across America" program this year. ✍️💌📫 Students created Valentine cards to be mailed to another Life Skills classroom in Somerville, Alabama. The idea is to get Valentine's Day cards from all 50 states! 🌎💕 #KittitasCoyotes

The boy's league semi-final game this week included an exclusive "ESPN" broadcast crew and a whole lot of energy! Congratulations on the win, 'Yotes! 🏀🙌 #KittitasCoyotes

In Kitchen Science, students learned the art of pancake design. 🥞 They drew a design, created the color pallet, and then were required to determine which order all the colors had to be added in order to achieve the correct result, even the design pointing the correct direction. Some were definitely more trickier than others, but all were fun to make! 👏👏👏 #KittitasCoyotes

The Kittitas FFA trapshooting team recently had their first contest in Ritzville! Kyson won the Annie Oakley shootout and tied for 5th overall individual. The team scored 8th overall. They learned a lot and are excited for the next contest in Othello. 👏👏👏 #KittitasCoyotes

Mrs. Moen's 6th graders worked with pattern blocks and diagrams to make sense of division with fractions. Great work, students! 🤔💭🧠📊 #KittitasCoyotes

This week, KSS got to celebrate two of our student athletes, Lauren Jensen and Terry Huber III. 🤩🎉🙌 Lauren Jensen signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Yakima Valley College. Middle School Boys Wrestling team have been working hard here is their 2026 tournament schedule.

High school clay class students made over 100 clay ornaments to be given to residents at Mountain View Post-Acute Center in Ellensburg. 🎄✨ Funding for this project was made possible with a mini-grant from the Kittitas School Foundation. #KittitasCoyotes

The Kittitas Public Schools Foundation was involved with the gifting of a baby grand piano from long time members, Duane and Marge Skeen, for use in Kittitas Secondary School. The cost of moving and tuning the piano was paid by the Foundation with a donation from Peggy Clerf Tehan and her husband John. The Foundation would like to thank and recognize Duane and Marge Skeen and John and Peggy Tehan for their most generous donations! ❤️🩶 #KittitasCoyotes
