✨ Played basketball and earned his AA at Wenatchee Valley College
✨ Bachelor's in Health & Physical Education from Eastern Washington University
✨ Taught Elementary PE in Wapato for the past 4 years

On a recent field trip, 3rd grade students had a great time learning about the agricultural industry from local FFA students and volunteers. They learned all about hay, animals, farming, and agriculture technology! 🚜🌾🐷 #KittitasCoyotes

Mrs. Schmidt recently had the joy of visiting with Marge Skeen and Mary Lou Hudson, the Dream 5th Grade Team from the 1980s and 1990s.
They were truly loved and respected by both their students and fellow staff. ❤️These amazing teachers were also the creative force behind some of the best elementary Christmas programs. What a wonderful reunion and reminder of the lasting impact great teachers make.🫶

They started exploring fractions in Mrs. Eres class by breaking down the "whole" story. Using Hershey’s bars, students got a hands-on look at how the parts make up a whole.🍫

Kittitas High School students Alexandra M. (11), Caleb H. (11), and Levi S. (9) participated in the ESD 105 Regional Art Show in Yakima from March 2–13. We are so proud of their creativity and dedication!
A special shoutout to Levi S., who earned a Judge’s Choice Award for the clay project, “Tic-Tac-Toe Sushi.” 🏆👏

Who sung it best? 🎤🎶 Sophomores earned a prize for the last 10 minutes of Ms. Kulm’s class, and requested she play “Bohemian Rhapsody.” She played it very loudly and they sang their hearts out—but, they couldn’t outperform Ms. Kulm! 😉🙌 #KittitasCoyotes

Kindergarteners have been talking about extreme weather, and recently did a hands-on experiment to learn more about flooding. 🥽💦🧑‍🔬 #KittitasCoyotes

Students in the Secondary Kitchen Science class in Kittitas recently put their creativity and culinary skills to the test with a hands-on food science and styling challenge. 🧑‍🍳🍽️ As part of the project, students experimented with creating faux ice cream, learning how food stylists craft visually appealing dishes that look authentic on camera. 🍦 The goal was not only to replicate the appearance of real ice cream but also to style and present it in a way that would stand out in a professional photograph. Seven teams competed for the top spot, showcasing impressive creativity, teamwork, and attention to detail. After a staff vote, the team of Bentley, Harleigh, and Addison were named the winners of the challenge. 🏆🙌 In recognition of their outstanding work, the winning team received certificates and a complimentary drink from the Coyote Cafe. Congratulations to all of the students for their innovation, effort, and artistic presentation! 👏👏👏 #KittitasCoyotes

Kittitas athlete Ronan Stewart celebrates winning the 1B/2B boys 190-pound State Championship Match at Mat Classic XXXVII at the Tacoma Dome. 🤩🤼💪👏 #KittitasCoyotes

Kittitas has their first champion since 2017. Ronan Stewart is a wrestling 190lb State Champion. The boys team finished 16th. Five boy wrestlers participated and four of them placed. Ollie did her best to represent the girls.
