High school students rolled up their sleeves and made lasagna and garlic rolls from scratch! They planned the menu, made a shopping list, and hit the store. When it was time to cook, they whipped up the best lasagna ever. A true pasta-tively delicious success! 🍝👏 #KittitasCoyotes

🎉 Monster Madness on Thursday, February 20th! 🎉
The monsters were delivered to their rightful homes (aka Mrs. Dixon’s first grade class)! Each student tried to figure out which monster was theirs by matching their unique designs. 🧐
Once all the monsters found their owners, Mrs. Uceny’s Personal Choices class brought the fun to life by reading the stories they created together! 📚✍️ It was awesome to see the first graders following along with the stories! 👏
The first graders absolutely LOVED their monsters, and there was so much pride and joy shared by the high school students who saw their hard work come to life! 😄🎉 #KittitasCoyotes










On February 11, 2025, all the Kindergarten and TK students celebrated the 100th day of school by participating in 9 fun and engaging centers! 🎉
The activities included:
Building towers with 100 cups 🏰
Creating colorful 100 Fruit Loop necklaces 🍇
Drawing pictures of themselves at '100 years old' 🎨
Designing special Valentine's cards 💌
Constructing with 100 connecting cubes 🧩

🍪💕 Baking and Pastry students put their skills to the test with some festive cookie decorating! They whipped up glaze and buttercream frosting to decorate a variety of heart-shaped and Valentine-themed sugar cookies they had baked beforehand. ❤️🎨 #KittitasCoyotes
In geometry class, students explored the world of 3D shapes by manipulating cubes to calculate volumes and surface areas! 🧊📐 It was a hands-on experience that helped them better understand the intricacies of irregular shapes in three-dimensional space. 🔍✨ #KittitasCoyotes




Mrs. Taylor’s 2nd grade had “Snowy” Centers Day! Students completed 5 different math centers using their special “snowball slingshots” and recorded their data in their packets. To wrap up the day they made their own snack by building a tasty snowman. 😁❄️⛄️ #KittitasCoyotes

On Tuesday, January 21st, Kittitas FCCLA hosted the Regional STAR Event competition. 🌟
The day started with a quick review of the evaluation process, led by the FCCLA Washington State President, Parker Casey, and Region 7 State Vice President, Kayser Dempsey. Evaluation teams set up, and then it was time to compete.
Thirty-six teams competed in a variety of events. Competitors earned Gold, Silver, or Bronze ratings. Kittitas FCCLA earned solid gold for the day, with all nine of their teams advancing to the Washington FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Spokane, March 4-7. 👏👏 Well done everyone! #KittitasCoyotes

Mrs. Dixon's first-grade class and Mrs. Uceny's high school students have partnered to complete a "Monster" project! 📖

Kittitas students joined 400 participants from across South Central Washington to compete in the Area 10 DECA competition at the Yakima Convention Center. DECA is a leadership program for students in business and marketing, helping them develop public speaking, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to prepare for the future job market. 🧠🌟👏
