In honor of Veterans Day next week, both 4th grade classes had a very special guest join them for a morning! Students had the opportunity to meet Jeremy Parks, a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served for 30.5 years—and who also happens to be Ms. Parks’ father! Joining the classes via Zoom all the way from Indiana, Mr. Parks shared stories about his time in the Navy, what life is like in retirement, and what Veterans Day means to him personally. Students were inspired as they listened and wrapped up the visit with thoughtful questions about his service and his many duty stations around the world. Thank you, Mr. Parks, for your service and for sharing your experiences with our 4th graders! ❤️💙 #KittitasCoyotes

When Jordan practiced his trombone at home, little brother, Jesiah, always wanted to join in. Our amazing music teacher, Ms. Miller, made that possible by providing Jesiah with his own trombone, and now their home rings with beautiful music! 🤩🎶 #KittitasCoyotes
