Dear Kittitas Families and Community Members,

I am honored to introduce myself as the Interim Superintendent of the Kittitas School District. It is a privilege to join a community deeply committed to the success and well-being of its students.

I begin this role, I recognize that leadership transitions bring both opportunities and uncertainties. My priority is to ensure a smooth, supportive transition for students, staff, families, and community stakeholders. I am committed to listening deeply, learning continuously, and engaging purposefully with the ultimate goal of building trust and fostering transparency.

I plan to learn from you, our students, families, educators, staff, and community leaders, and work alongside you to shape a collective vision for the future of Kittitas schools. I also plan to be visible, present, and accessible in classrooms, at school events, and throughout the community.

Please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself, share your thoughts, or invite me to a community event or school activity. I am here to support our students and to partner with you in this important work. Thank you for the warm welcome I’ve already received. It’s clear that Kittitas is a place where relationships matter and where people care deeply about kids.
