🧑🍳 Kitchen Science Food Truck Face-Off! 🚐 Our Middle School Kitchen Science students recently put their creativity, culinary skills, and teamwork to the test during our exciting Food Truck Face-Off! 🥕🍓 The Food Truck Face-Off provided a fun, hands-on opportunity for students to apply kitchen science concepts while building confidence and leadership skills that will benefit them both in and out of the classroom. Our Baking and Pastry students are bringing creativity to life through their character cake projects! Each student selected their own design and color palette, making every cake a unique reflection of their personality. As they work, they are building essential decorating skills, including outlining, flooding, and using star tips to create detailed features and textures. It’s been exciting to watch their confidence grow as their designs come together step by step. From first outline to final details, students are taking pride in their progress and truly enjoying the process. These cakes are more than just sweet treats—they’re a showcase of skill development, creativity, and hard work! 🧑🍳🍰👏 #KittitasCoyotes
Mrs. Taylor’s 2nd graders practiced their money counting skills by playing money tic-tac-toe. They loved this activity and have since asked to play again! #KittitasCoyotes

Kittitas FFA members along with FFA members from Thorp recently presented to 3rd graders at the Elementary Ag Day that took place at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds. Members presented about hay, small animals, and beef. Elementary Ag Day gets two thumbs up, five stars, would definitely recommend! #KittitasCoyotes

Fourth grade students got a behind-the-scenes look at the world of construction thanks to special guest Logan Martin, who stopped by straight from a job site in Ellensburg! Our young engineers put their skills to the test with a fun (and competitive!) spaghetti-and-marshmallow bridge challenge—who could build the strongest design? Let’s just say creativity and teamwork were in full force! A huge THANK YOU to Logan for sharing his time and expertise—it was an unforgettable experience for our students! #KittitasCoyotes
